8 things I LOVE about Kajabi
Since I started using Kajabi in July to host The Unicorn Advisory’s online courses and sales pages, I’ve become a bit of a Kajabi super fan (almost like one of those annoying evangelists– I’m finding it just THAT good), so I thought I’d share 8 things I adore about Kajabi in case you’re curious about why I think it’s so good.
Just a heads up
Blog Posts from at The Unicorn Advisory may contain affiliate links, but I’m a no bullshit affiliate kinda gal, as you can read about in my affiliate disclaimer.
I only share products and services I use and love.
The few $$ I make from affiliate income, costs you absolutely nothing and goes straight to our family holiday fund ✈️ so my kids and I thank you 💗
1. 24 hour live chat support
Any time I have needed help with ANYTHING on Kajabi (or if any of my team have needed help) we’ve been able to talk to someone right away.
No submitting support tickets and waiting days to hear back. You get instant and immediate help.
You only get this on the growth plan and above, but let me tell you – this live chat help has been worth every freakin cent of going up to the growth plan.
When you’re using any new software, it comes with challenges and you don’t know how to use each part, so instead of wasting hours trying to figure it out or waiting days to get it sorted, you get it sorted quickly.
Perfect if you’re an impatient person like me 😉
2. Great page builder tools
I’ve used a few different website platforms over the years, but I’m not what I would consider a web designer or developer, more a really savvy DIY’er. Anything to do with code gets a big fat NO from me.
Most of the pages in Kajabi are made using blocks – either handy pre-designed blocks, or ones you customise.
Once I got my head around where all the elements were and how to use each type of block, creating a sales page or any website page was a breeze! And they look so good!
I love the flexibility of the layout and the different block styles that you can combine to make a slick page.
3. Everything is together in one place!
You can use Kajabi as the main tool to run your entire business. Your website, your landing pages, your webinars, your sales pages, your funnels, your email list, your courses, memberships, shopping cart, it is all right there in one place.
I’m not using all those things inside Kajabi just yet, as I already had multiple other systems in place, but I am in the process of moving everything and I love that it will all be together to save the tech integration hassles (and working out integrations has resulted in a fair few choice words being flung at the computer screen this year!)
4. Pipelines AKA funnel builder
You use pipelines essentially as a way to combine different marketing aspects together to form a funnel. Pipelines is the Kajabi funnel builder and I LOVE this feature so much as it takes away a lot of the funnel building stress!
You can build out your own from scratch or start with one of their templates and make it your own.
Either way you’re able to connect everything together seamlessly. It is so brilliant knowing that everything just works and using the templates means you don’t miss any steps or connections.
Start a pipeline and it creates the landing page, the follow up email or email sequence, the webinar page if you need that, all of it and links it all up. You just change the default text and images and away you go.
5. Automations
These are pretty powerful in Kajabi and I am only just starting to use them.
Once we have all our automations built out, the time we will save in the business is going to be substantial.
Each step in the process works like clockwork. You can set automations on a wide range of triggers – such as not be on the site in a certain timeframe, when someone has finished (or not finished a course lesson). When someone opens an email, clicks on a link, signs up to a freebie and so much more.
The automations are much more powerful than in other software we’ve used and will enable us to give great service to unicorn clients and students on autopilot.
6. Upselling and cross selling
I love a profitable business and one way to improve profitability is not leaving money on the table. During course purchases (or any other purchase made through the “offers” area you can easily set up upsells and order bumps. It’s a great way of getting additional sales without any pressure or hard-selling. If you have an upsell that makes sense, then add them in.
The Kajabi checkout system makes it super easy to do.
7. Kajabi onboarding and support
OMG I am not exaggerating when I say the support from Kajabi is quite possibly the best experience I’ve ever had from any software company.
It is a full and sometimes complicated software – there is a lot to it and they recognise that new users especially, will need help to make the most of it.
Even when I was still on a trial (you can get a free 14 day trial here by the way) I was offered a personal 1:1 call with a Kajabi support team member (in addition to the 24/7 chat help) and she was able to resolve almost all of my questions.
I was super impressed at the comprehensive follow up email I got afterwards as well (I really did have a LOT of questions), helping me with everything she wasn’t able to help me with on the phone.
I had a few frustrations at the start of using Kajabi – mainly trying to work out how to do things I was already doing in other systems and thinking that Kajabi couldn’t do it, but I got almost everything resolved though that call.
I’ve also had two other personal 1:1 calls since then, which have been amazing as I’ve got to know the platform and have more advanced questions!
Honestly, I was blown away by it and that kind of support and care is part of what makes me such a Kajabi super fan.
And 24/7 chat help is SO FREAKIN GOOD!
8. Flexible course layout pages
The ability to customise your course pages and make them look how you want was a big yay for me with making the move to Kajabi.
I wasn’t locked in to one style of course page (that the students see) that looks like every other freakin course on the interwebs. Who wants their course to look like everyone else’s? Uh, not me!
With Kajabi they have multiple layout options and a who lot of flexibility and customisation available.
Even within each lesson or module you can customise and change things up – I love it!
Want to try Kajabi for yourself?
As you can see - if you’re running any kind of online information business, and don’t want the hassles of connecting multiple software platforms together… or just want to feel amazingly supported in learning a new system, Kajabi could just be your knight in shining armour!
You can get a 14 day free trial of Kajabi on their website at any time or if you want a little more time to look around, experiment, talk to the 24/7 support team if you’re on the growth plan or above and get stuck.
BUT
Since I like to look after the Unicorn VIP’s, you can get a 14 day trial through my link - brilliant!
Try it out and let me know what you think and if you do have any questions about how it works or integrates with other systems or you’re not sure if you want to use all the features. Happy to help any time :)
